Perhaps this can be compared with hunting passion. In a previous interview with R&P, I already told how I managed to acquire a rare 46.31 carat spinel, a rare purple-red color. It was mined back in the 90s of the last century in the Pamirs at the Kukhilal (Ruby Mountain) spinel deposit and initially weighed 174 carats. I chased it for about three years, then it was cut in Dubai by the best cutters from Russia. Two years after its acquisition, an amazing ring was created.
